MISSION: To advance South Carolina's economic development by helping entrepreneurs grow successful businesses.
OVERVIEW: The University of South Carolina (USC), through the Moore School of Business, operates the statewide network of Small Business Development Centers (SBDC).
SERVICES AVAILABLE:
1. Consulting:The SBDC provides quality consulting in such areas as business plans, marketing, record keeping, financial loan packaging, and general management.
2. Continuing Education: The SBDC conducts workshops and seminars for both new and existing business owners and entrepreneurs.
3. Information and Referral: The SBDC maintains current information on a wide range of small business services provided by other agencies.
4. Special Purpose Programs: Procurement, Exporting and Technology Transfer.
FEES:Consulting and referral services are offered without charge. Seminars are provided at a nominal fee.
CONFIDENTIALITY:Consultants have signed a confidentiality agreement and cannot discuss any details pertaining to our clients,outside the SBDC, without express written consent.
ACCESS: The SBDC offices are normally open from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.
